Tinsley in prison (pt 1)

At 5:00 am this morning (UK) time we received a phone call from our lawyer in Thailand.
Sean Tinsley has been found and has appeared in court. He has been found guilty of assault and sentenced to six years. We are told he is now in jaill.
We are awaiting the full court transcript which should be with us tomorrow before we can confirm all the details.
We would like to say a very big thank you to all Adam’s friends and supporters who have been so active in making this happen.
We will post more news as it arrives.

Matthew Cullen OMG that is such good news Andrew Pickles and Adele Pickles....I know this is not a replacement to what he has done (as 20 x life sentences would not be a solution), however I hope it will provide some relief. All my love to you both X

Heather Maurice I am so glad some kind of justice has been served. Though six years seems so little a price considering what you have all been through. Happy that Tinsley has at least been found and held accountable.

Lisa Marcantonio This is amazing news to know he is finally behind bars. Obviously the sentence is nowhere near long enough but this is still great news. Well done to all of you who have stayed strong and positive throughout the case and have never given up. Thinking of you all and sending love for Adam xxx

Gary Stafford Fantastic! Hope this brings some closure - I was beginning to doubt if justice would ever be done. If he'd been sentenced to six years here in the UK, he'd be out after serving about three of 'em. Sincerely hope that the Thai system keeps him in the Bangkok Hilton for the whole of the sentence.
