The Adam Pickles Fundraising Campaign

Adam is out of ICU and is back on the high dependency ward. He is coughing a lot and the chest infection is still a problem. The micro biologists have given the go-ahead to treat him with anti-biotics in an attempt to clear this.
The chest infection is clearly distressing to him but we hope that once this has settled down the work of the occupational therapists will continue. There was an MRI scan scheduled last week that has had to be postponed and we are hoping that this might now be possible in the next week or so.

I'm really sorry for neglecting my duties on the blog once again.

Adam has been taken back to the intensive care unit. Yesterday he started with a very high temperature and a drop in blood pressure. He had a severe coughing fit and was unable to breathe. Fortunately Adele was in the room at the time and was able to sound the alarm.
By last night he was stable again and they are running tests to try to find the cause. At the moment they suspect some form of infection.
We are in regular contact with the hospital and will be there most of today.
