Adam back at Woodlands

Adam has been moved from York hospital and is back at Woodlands.
All the tests, apart from a small chest infection came out negative so this is a departure from what has happened previously.
A lot of work to do next week to find out what happened and what action we need to take to lessen the risk of seizures in the future.

FB post from Sarah Donaldson

Hi, from the ladies of Burapha, Greenside and Nichida, Thailand - we keep up to date with all your postings. Although some of us do not know Adam, many others do as he taught many of our children in Regents. We are following events here in Thailand and are all praying and hoping that justice will prevail xx

another night in York HDU

York hospital wanted to keep Adam in for observation for another night, so he spent last night on HDU. We received no calls during the night and he should be transferred back to Woodlands today. Will post more news later.

further update on Adam

Adam has spent another night on HDU in York. The seizures have stopped but when we left last night he was still very tense. Providing tonight has gone by without incident and the test results do not show any further complications he should be returning back to Woodlands today.
At one point we hit the same problem that we did in Leeds when they wanted to transfer him to a general ward whilst waiting for the results of the tests. The HDU was providing more support than was required but we did not believe that a general ward could not meet his needs and he would be better back at Woodlands.
York hospital listened to our concerns and agreed to keep him on the HDU fo another night, so well done York Hospital.
So all being well he will be back at his home in Woodlands today and we then have to try to find out what happened and what steps we can take prevent it happening again.
