Tinsley buys more time

More absolutely ridiculous news from the Thai courts today....

Just sit back and ponder the possible outcomes:- guilty, not guilty, Tinsley has skipped bail???
All wrong. The court has lost the papers. Somewhere between Bangkok and Pattaya they have gone missing!!!
The outcome - lets all get together again on the 17th September.
We must all come to our own conclusions about this.

  • Judith Mitchell Well done Andrew. I like everyone else I am sure feel so impotent and helpless. Have you thought about the British Embassy ? They may be able to put pressure on the Thai organisations - maybe even give you a barrister. Meanwhile are any more donations needed to support these ongoing costs/ trips to Thailand please?

Well done to the BBC for covering it, the world needs to know how wrong this is.
All we want is an end to this side of it. It's been OVER TWO YEARS!!!!

  • Neil Clappison If anyone else is wondering where is the help from the British Embassy in all of this, then to save you reading back 2 years 3 months, this is short version.
The British Embassy in Bangkok is an embarrassment to the UK. They have been 100% useless throughout all of this. Andrew & Adele have had to cope with the aftermath of Adam's attempted murder with zero help from them.
Can you imagine what that's like? In those exceptional circumstances of hearing their news, having to fly across the world to a strange country where you cannot understand anyone or how things work, and then have to deal with the Thai police, Thai hospitals (Drs, medical records, bills), Adam's medical repatriation, visas, passports, Adam's son Ben's papers, Adam's house in Thailand, etc. etc. (I could go on & on), with no help from your Embassy. If anything they made things harder for them.
British Embassies abroad are not your knights in shining armour, they are there for political purposes, they do not care about you.

  • Neil Clappison We're gonna need everyone's help again. This doesn't take long but can have a big impact. People in the UK, please use this websitehttp://findyourmp.parliament.uk to find your MP AND WRITE TO THEM about this case. We all know what has really happened here, papers don't just 'get lost'. It's important that the Thai authorities know that the world is watching them.
