another update from Andrew

It is now nearly two weeks since Adam had the last seizure. The medication made hime very drowsy at first but he appears to be adjusting to this. So, hopefully we are over this problem.
The wheelchair has arrived, 95% complete, but functional so he can sit out of bed more.
And finally, we are on with getting his tracheostamy removed. The first stage, deflating the cuff in the trach which allows him to breath through his nose, mouth and trach was started a week ago without any problem.The next stage, slowly capping off the trach will be started soon.

  Cafrin Hart Le Good I'm so pleased things are progressing well and that the chair is in situ. He must've got really used to sitting up most of the time at RHN, he was almost always in it in the daytime there so it all makes sense. Adam is always in my thoughts, I hope to get up at some point when we are a bit more settled- we're getting there. My Dad was here yesterday and commented on what a fine looking fellow Adam is in a pic I have up. I hope you are both well, much love xxx
