Some good news...
We have had a meeting with the specialist and the team at Woodlands.
Work on the trach is going well and theyare now starting to cap it off for short periods, building up the time over the next few weeks. If this goes well they will then be able to remove the trach completely.
The consultant stressed the severity of Adam's injuries, but despite this all the staff report that they are now getting regular and significant responses from him, which is great news.
He is really poular witht the nurses, and I dont know how he does it but his sense of humour still gets through and makes everyone smile.
We are really pleased with how things are going, we are still moving forward.
