Question “How do you make a joke whilst in a coma”
I had witnessed a similar event to the one I am about to describe just a few days before. To really appreciate it you needed to be there, but it was witnessed by one of Adele’s friend, who came to the same conclusion.
Adam was sat in his wheelchair. We noticed that he appeared more alert and his head was more balanced. As you know he can move his left arm but so far very little movement in his right.
With his left hand he reached up and tried to pull the trach out and smiled. Adele moved his hand, told him not to do this and it was dangerous. He waited a few moments and did it again, still smiling. Hand was moved away again, this time he slowly moved it inch by inch slowly up his chest and then did it again, bigger smile.
