Adam is once again back at Woodlands. There was a little concern about his breathing last night which was caused by him being put on codeine at the hospital. The doctor for Woodlands gave him an injection to counteract this and it appears to have settled down now. We spent some time with him today but he was extremely tired and asleep most of the time, but looked a lot better. Hopefully things will improve over the next few days. The operation to close the hole from the trachesotemy is healing well, and it would appear that he doesnt have a lung infection.
The last two weeks have been extremely exhausting, especially the problem of explaining to the hospital Adam's condition and his special needs. However we would like to give a special thanks to the nursing staff on ward 15 who were exceptional in their attention and care for Adam.
