more health bad news

Not good news i'm afraid. Adam was transferred back to Woodlands on Monday but had to be taken back to hospital Tuesday morning. The swelling around his neck had got worse and there were signs of infection and an abscess. He is back on a general ward. They have drained the abscess and are treating him with anti-biotics. There are also signs of a chest infection. Its not good at the moment but we will see how things go today.

  Carol Norwell Try the Patient Advice Liaison Service at the hospital (PALS). This is a really helpful service who do what it says on the tin. They will liaise with the hospital on behalf of the patient or relatives when things are not going well. Really hope that Adam is soon out of the woods.

  Judith Mitchell Like everyone else I am so disappointed and frustrated for you all. Words fail me to think he was not properly checked for stability before being discharged back to Woodlands! I am sure they have now learnt to step up a gear. I do think Pals is a good idea though as NHS seem to march faster to the sound of potential audited complaints. However, by now I have no doubt in your strenght to remain solid but send prayers of strength love and stamina to keep fighting . By now you can't be too far from the top after your long but steadfast climb. Here's to King Adam - the champion fighter and his ever faithful servants who love and support him and his Mum and Dad. x

In a different context I had to fight about my own mother so we are all behind you and I think someone else mentioned that the hospital don't like the media getting hold of complaints .
